Schemata Creative v2

This is the full redesign, or refresh to the very popular Schemata Creative. I have gotten many very positive reviews on this refresh and wanted to share it on my portfolio. There are alot of smaller changes that really enhance the visitor experience such as expanding menus, colors slightly modified to be a little easier on the eyes.

TeleSales

Designing this was a bit difficult, because the system the client was working on was not yet in place. They had an intranet site, so I worked off that color scheme, and tried to design something that would advertise their services. It came out as something simple and to the point. Only a one page informational website.

May Fly Books

This concept was one of about six I went through with the client. We eneded up choosing to incorporate this into a wordpress theme. I wanted to match the site with the logo, while still being easy to read, easy to navigate, and professional looking. It is a pretty small site so I wanted something simple, yet still creative.

GPS Whereabouts

This was originally blue and grey, but I felt it would look better if it matched the theme of the new age technology. Since most new technology is black and glossy in color. Along with the website, I created a flash demo video, you can view here.

Mobile Uploaded

Designed for a client that produces a mobile phone application that allows you to upload photos to your server right from your phone. This was one of two concepts explored and finally decided on. It was meant to bring design aesthetics into a professional enviroment, while still applying to the general public.I also created a flash demo video you can see here.

East Bay Marketing

A webdesign created for a marketing and sales firm in Antioch, California. One of their biggest income generators are pamphlets and newspapers, so I created the design to imitate a 3 fold pamphlet. After all was said and done, the design wasn't used in favor of another concept but I still think this is a strong design.

Psychology Honor Society

This was created for the Psychology Honor Society at California State University, Chico. It was meant to be edited easily and have a very accessable user interface. The logo on the left was not done by me, but it is the official logo of the national society.

Schemata Creative

A professional web design firm I started to create professional, uniwues business websites. The website has a full PHP content managment system that is all behind the scenes. It also features a flash banner. I was assigned to creating the identity for the company, including the logo, and business cards.

ArtisticMind Design Community

Created as a side project to have artists showcase their work, gain critique, make friends and and enter design competitions as a team. This idea was later scrapped but might be brough back later. I wanted to give a really clean, expressive feel to this site.

Artisticmind v.1

My first real version of my portfolio. This has been used for over 3 years and was due for a refresh. I went through this fad that had me dealing with a lot of butterflies. I don' t know why. I also really liked the colors of dark green and dark red. It reminded me of royalty for some reason.

Artisticmind v.2

Although this design was never used for my portfolio, I still think it is very unique. I kept the same color scheme and wanted to have something nature related. The top bar is meant to look like wood, there are bits of ivy scattered around and the background was supposed to be selectable between dirt and grass. I eventually skipped over this design and went straight to version 3, which you are seeing now.

Bookspace

A really complicated webdesign made to resemble a book. I have never really been good at textures, but felt that this was made really well. It was coded to be compatble with myspace and since has won a creative profile award which you can see here.

Royaltyspace

Another award winning myspace design, this was featured with the creative profile award located at: Creative Profile Awards. This was made using CSS code and followed the same green, red and butterfly theme as my first two portfolio designs. This has since been replace by the teal myspace design.

Tealspace

This design is the one thaht succeeded the Royaltyspace design and begins to show my transformation from the green/red/butterfly theme to more of a teal and brown theme. I love this color combination and intend to use it in more of my projects.
