Music to My Ears
Taken as a portrait assignment for my photography class, it was rated the best photo in the class and it was one of my favorites. The model in this photo is a friend of mine named Chris.
Rasner
I went to a Yankees vs. Athletics came and snapped this awesome action shot. I really love the contrast of the grey jersey against the green background and the grass is just fantastic. 6 rows from the field wasnt a bad spot either.
Paula
While on a vacation to Poland, I was travelling with my friend Paula who agreed to pose for a few photos for me while in a beautiful location. This location was the royal castle in Warsaw.
Belmar Beach
The east coast beaches are some of the best in the U.S. and this is Belmar beach in New Jersey. It was surprisingly very crowded, but was still relaxing at the same time. I tried to get some of the waves in the photo here.
Night Glitters
Night photography is not of my strong points, and this was one of my first photos at night. This was taken on July 4th, 2006 during the fireworks show. Although it is not as clear as it could be, because the shutter speed was so slow, I still really like it because of the various colors and lightning appearance.
Taxi Man
An interesting photo taken in the great city of New York. This is right out side of Madison Square Garden and shows the busy streets in the New York City lights. One of my better photographs taken at night and one of my favorite's that were taken on my trip to NYC.
Reina Sofía
I travelled to Madrid, Spain and visited one of the most beautiful and popular museums in the world. The Reina Sofía. This was just a beautiful and artistic sculpture outside the main entrance. I really like the contrasting colors here.
Eiffel
One of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. The Eiffel Tower certaintly is beautiful in real life. Before visiting Paris, France I had only seen the tower in magazines and other photographs. It was a great experience to be able to stand right in front of it.
Saint Theodoroi
This is named the lighthouse of Saint Theodoroi and is located in Argostoli, Greece on the Island of Keffalonia. It was such a beautiful sight at sunset and this image is made up of 3 exposures merged for a single HDR image. My favorite image from my trip to Greece!
Rocky Horror
Here was an interested set of rocks on the coast of Argostolia, Greece. It looks pretty from the top, but upon closer inspection there were loads of wires and bottles and cans polluting the beautiful water and scenary at my feet.
Burning Sky
An amazing display of color was caught in a photograph in Dublin, Ireland. This is the Church of St. Patrick and shows off the beautiful sunsets in Ireland. Minor photo editing was done, but this is pretty much the real color of the sunset! Beautiful!
Louvre
An iconic part of Paris, the Louvre museum houses the original Mona Lisa painting and is quite a beautiful building in itself. I really enjoyed visiting and photographing the museum and surrounding area.
Royalty in Madrid
This is the royal castle in Madrid, Spain. It flies the Spanish flag proudly atop the castle. Each post is capped in beautiful gold metal. It is a beautiful building and a really nice one to photograph. Luckily I got the shot just before it started raining, even though the sky is a gorgeous blue!
Romantic Sunset
Some say that Paris is the most romantic city in the world, and with sunset's like this I can see why! It was a gorgeous site with the Eiffel Tower just behind me out of the frame. This was taken on a bridge overlooking the Seine River in Paris, France.
Parliament
I went abroad to England for one year and this is a photo I took from the first time I went to London. I absolutely loved the city, and this is a photograph of the buildings of Parliament. Just out of the frame is Big Ben.
Leaning Tower
Another very iconic building in the world has to be the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa, Italy. To realyl appreciate this tower you need to visit it yourself, but to have been standing right in front of what I have only heard about was exciting! I really like the sky in this image.
Roman Sun
One of my favorite things to photograph is the sun and the way it creeps above, around and through various objects. This was taken among the ruins in Rome, Italy and is one of my favorite shots of the day. The sillouettes of the ruins are truly stunning and brings me back to that day everytime I see this image.
Set Sail
Taken on the island of Keffalonia, Greece, this sailboat was practically posing for this shot against the beautiful and naturally blue water. I have never seen a site so beautiful. This image was taken just after a dinner on the beach overlooking the sea.
Tower Bridge
Everyone thinks this is the London Bridge, however this is much more beautiful than the London Bridge. This shot of the Tower Bridge was taken on a very awful and rainy day in London, England, as well as during a time when construction was being performed on the bridge so you see the nasty scaffolding on the right.
Creep
As you may have noticed I just love the way the sun looks creeping through various objects. Through the trees shining different colors of the leaves makes photos like these just beautiful to me. I took this while still a beginner in photography so I have improved much since then. Taken in Madrid, Spain.
The Vatican City
Most people do not know where the pope lives. Most would say Rome, but a little city named the Vatican City (one of the oldest in Italy) is home to the Pope and is in the center of Rome, Italy. This is a gorgeous shot at night on a cool crisp December evening.
Blurred
I can't do macro. I really do not know how, and I do not have a macro lens. But I got this pretty shot while playing around with different aperature settings to work on my depth of field. I actually really liked this one so decided to post it. It was taken in Colchester, England.
350
This car is gorgeous! This photo is taken just after a really clean wash, the lighting was pretty much perfect for my needs and the contrast in the photo is superb. Later on my friend and I went on a little drive and took some more photos. Those to follow.
Black Beauty
The name is entirely fitting. Black and Beautiful. This is a photo of my 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa. It was a very nice photograph taken in the same shoot as the 350z. Unfortunately, no more photos will be taken of this fantastic ride because I have sold my car.
James
My roommate's dog James. This was originally going to be made into a black and white photo, but I scrapped that idea due to all the variations of color in his coat. His eyes are beautiful as well. Although I did use a flash in this picture, it really shows the glare in his extremely healthy coat.
In Motion
Taken after I had gotten off of the train at Penn Station in New York, this is one of my favorite photographs because of the motion effect. It is a mix of the rushed city life and the still rlaxing life as you can see from the people in the background just sitting and relaxing. Still, a very interesting photo to say the least.
Streamline
This photo was taken using a seven second shutter speed in Paris, France. I really liked the colors of this photo as well as the obvious division between the headlights and taillights. The bokeh of the streetlights is almost perfect.
Rosey
A gorgeous Macaw parrot at a zoo in Colchester, England prompted me to snap this shot in a heartbeat. I really love the beautiful colors of this bird, and to know how smart they are is really cool. They can also be trained to be more tame than a cockateil.
Snow White
A very rare white Bengal tiger was at the zoo in Colchester, England. There are very few left on this earth, in the wild and only a handful in captivity. This is a beautiful animal that deserves a lot of respect. You can see they seem to be cute and playful and not so ferocious.
Tigger
Some beautiful Bengal Tigers are getting some sun and stretching out at the zoo in Colchester, England. It was so cute and deserved to be photographed. I almost want to have one as a pet, but then I remembered they are about ten times my size.
The Throne
One of the many royal thrones at the castle in Warsaw, Poland. This room was actually just to meet with other leaders from other countries. It was the most beautiful of the thrones because the dark red color associated with royalty compliments well with the precious gold.
Coconut
I took this shot at the zoo in Colchester, England, but I really like it because the composition just fits very nicely. Not sure if this is just because it follows the rule of thirds or not, but I just am drawn to this picture alot. I also had this as my desktop wallpaper for awhile.
