Stem
One of my first vector projects, Stem was created just by messing around and creative carious shapes with gradients. I just kept duplicating the style and found that a certain arrangment had features as does a floral pattern.
In Loving Memory
Created as a present for my mother. In Loving Memory was created on the 10th anniversary of the passing date of my mother. It was created with a friend of mine as a collaborative project. It was a very exciting project to work on and is still one of my favorite pieces to date. RIP Laura Jean Dobrenski 9.23.63 - 6.6.93
Endless Imagination
Inspired by a artpiece of my friend Seb, I was testing some new techiniques and came out with this. It is one of my favorite pieces because of the simplicity and the contrasting colors. I am considering updating this piece with something a little bit more fresh and with some of my newly learned techiniques because I think the concept is just amazing.
Altitude
One of the most abstract pieces that I have created, I really don't know where I was going with this, but after playing aroudn with some settings and brushes, Altitude was the result, I also turned this in as a submission for an online art community.
Burning Bright
Love can make you do some crazy things, but sometimes the things you do aren't crazy at all. This piece was made for my girlfriend at the time, and being inspired by Reedy, it was really challenging to get just the right look. I really think it turned out really nice. I would like to remake this piece on a bigger canvas and turn it into a print to hang on a wall.
Fire / Ice
I found this stock of an unknown model, but after seeing the photo I was intriqued on messing around with it. I was originally just messing with the colors but found a really interesting combination of blue / red and thought of doing some sort of "clash of the world" but it eventually just turned into fire vs. ice. I have gotten some good feedback on this piece.
The Armor is Off
It seems like ever since I was in high school, I have had my "armor" on and didn't want people to know the real me. I have always been a very secretive and lonely person and I am tired of it. I want to really know someone and have them know me. The armor is off, hit me with your best shot.
Reach for the Sky
Another present for my mother, inspired by the song: Reach for the Sky by Social Distortion, I was just messing with a photo and inserted some of the lyrics. It portreys the importance of living every day to the fullest because "tomorrow may never come"
Anonymity
After about four hours of creating this piece, I stepped back and looked at it to see that it was nothing like I originally had imagined it, but even better. A little of the abstract side, it is also my only black and white piece.
